Lauren and Brad | Epona Estate Wedding | Hidden Valley, CA

Lauren and Brad’s Epona Estate Vineyard wedding can only be described as unforgettable. Nestled in Southern California amidst 40 acres of privately owned ranch, Epona Estate boasts beautifully manicured gardens surrounded by epic California oaks and magnificent vineyards. The most breathtaking element, perhaps, is the stunning landscape of the surrounding Santa Monica Mountains.

Lauren and Brad wanted to create an event for their dear friends and family that felt intimate and personal. The couple worked with Casi Cielo Events to design a celebration that was just that.

Lauren chose an intricate gown by Hayley Paige which featured a stunning cascading train with jewel embellishment. I love the sweet moments captured of Lauren and her mother putting the final touches on her dress and jewels before her first look with Brad.

One of my favorite moments of the day was Lauren’s First Look with her dad. As we walked together toward her father, who was waiting eagerly to see his daughter, Lauren’s eyes quickly began filling with tears. It was so sweet to witness the special bond these two share. How cute is the shot of both of them wiping tears away simultaneously?

I don’t think there was a dry eye in sight during the moment Brad turned to see his bride for the first time. He was clearly overcome with emotion and his joy was palpable. This was a moment he had been imagining for a long time.

After these two had had their first moment together, we transitioned into a few couple’s portraits at Epona Estate’s Pepper Tree Lane location.

Guests began to arrive and were seated at the ceremony site overlooking the hills surrounding the property. It was the perfect backdrop for a breathtaking ceremony. Florals in white, light blue, and deep red dressed the site for an elegant splash of color.

Lauren and Brad exchanged personal vows in front of their friends and family. In one touching moment, Lauren turned to Brad’s two daughters and recited vows to them personally as well. It was so moving to witness two families coming together as one. After Brad and Lauren had their first kiss as husband and wife, his daughters jumped in for a celebratory hug.

Following the ceremony, guests mingled together enjoying the couple’s signature cocktails. Guests were then invited to sit at the long farmhouse tables scattered across the courtyard. The tables were adorned with lush greenery, white candles, and splashes of gold detailing. Each guest received a personalized photo of themselves with the couple as their table setting. A thoughtful and meaningful detail.

I loved this candid moment of Lauren’s mom and bridesmaids bustling her dress before the couple’s grand entrance. It takes a great team to create a beautiful day!

After the couple’s First Dance, we snuck away for some sunset portraits to capture the gorgeous golden hour light. As a natural light photographer, it was an absolute dream to photograph Lauren and Brad in the warm glow of the California sunset.

Once the sun went down, the reception was transformed into a magical setting surrounded by the twinkle of market lights and candles. After hearing some heartfelt speeches from their wedding party, the dance floor opened up and the party started. Lauren and Brad paid tribute to the city where they live together by serving Chicago style hot dogs as a late night snack for guests to enjoy. So yummy!
